Spirit of Wolf-Woodland protecter

The Great-Hand that finished the piper below "Heart of Midlothian" and Mac Fadyen’s fairy dog that saved him in the haunted cave howl with the ghost of Culloden that I am Clan Morrison. The spirit of thick ink that is hand ground and the chalk of the trees sing that I am an artist. In the Highland, roam a creature with the body of a man but the head of a wolf, according to legend. Also, according to legend the last wolf of Scotland was killed around the mid-1700s.  It was said that Dogscame from friendly wolves. The only wolf I think I saw in nature was a large canine walking through a small town at night during a snow storm. I live bag pipe music.

Spirit of Wolf plays on this mythology. This was inspired by the movie Balto. One sees a howling wolf in the Northern Lights but tracks are leading to that point. The evergreens are a symbol of eternal life. It is 5” x 8,” drawn with pastels and completed December 2016. Labrador- Nature

Culm’s corn of the Little Old Man of the Barn and the wheel of the Little Red Dummy whisper to the wind that I am Clan Morrison. The Chi of soot and paper that is barely there and the forcing of Zen declare me an artist. I am from the bayou or Acadiana and part of old Acadia was Labrador.  Because of the seclusion, Labrador is quintessential Canadian. Ironically. The name is more associated with the dog breed. I tried growing corn once.

Labrador has a special mythology. This  the weird animal on the canoe is Kuekuatsheu which is on X-men Origin Wolverine which is from the Innu mythology who are native to Labrador. Behind everything is Torngat Mountains.  The church on the right is one of the two surviving Moravian Churches in Labrador which have been there sense 1752. The roller on which everything rests is the historic warehouses in-the-harbour of battle harbour-battle-harbour. The canoe is for the Labrador Heritage society.  It is 9” x 12,” drawn with pencil and charcoal and completed recently.  The Beaver is the Crytid being that it is said that a 700 pound beaver lives there. The stone knife in front of the canoe is from Forteau Point from a culture about 8, 000 years ago. The flowers of the mugwort prescribed by the mermaid on a blackstone by which the child died sing the  bonnie, bonnie ballade that I am Clan Morrison. Dumpster diving for art supplies and colors of charcoal swear that I am an artist. I was born on the edge of the Bayou and the Bayou Rondez-Vous has been in Montreal. I knew one guy from Quebec when I lived it Texas. He lived next to one of the houses for which I mowed. My Dad bought him a Canadian flag. He taught English at the local community college. Québec (Originally Kebec) was colonized by France because of a massacre of French Protestants in Florida. Cardinal Richelieu made the area catholic and made Montreal into a major trading hub. (In spite of this, Quebec did send a representative to the Synod du Desert or underground French Protestant convention in 1715.) Because of the battle of the Plain of Abraham, Quebec was given to England. In the 1960’s, the police protested with a walk off. Québec declared independence with French recognition, but the Mounties stopped it. This created a situation which ended with French being the only language in the province.   I broke stone by cooking them and breaking them in cold water.

The La Chassegalerie goes that the devil gave some loggers or fur traders a flying canoe to visit their loved ones on New Year’s Eve; however on the way back they were so drunk that they hit the top of a tree and were never heard from again. The Water fall on the fall right side behind everything is Montmorency Falls. It is actually taller than Niagara but narrower. When It freezes the bottom is called the “sugar pile.”The Castel on the right is the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. T was originally the home of Louis de Buade, Count of Frontenac who governed New France from 1672 to 1698. I became a hotel in 1899.  They rest on hills of Hautes-GorgesDE-LA-RIVIÈRE-MALBAIE national park. Everything is on the Flag of the Provence of Quebec. The Flag of Quebec has gold fleurs de lys and was use as a colony of France. The cross is the Croix du Mont Royal which replaced a wooden cross the Sieur de Maisonneuve for deliverance from the flood on 1643. The cannon is for the Battle Field where Québec fell to England.  The hexagon building is the ice fish shack. It is 9” x 12,” drawn with pencil and white charcoal and completed recently.
